PS Urges Youth to Register for NYOTA Program and Participate in National Initiatives

Youth are encouraged to continue registering for the NYOTA Program using the USSD Code  *254# and  to take full advantage of the government initiative for skills development, employment creation, and financial inclusion.

Stakeholders present included The Area MP,  MCAs, representative from Youth Affairs, youth champions, MSMEs secretariat, NGAOs and other county officials.

The PS further emphasized the importance of ID acquisition and voter registration in preparation for upcoming elections, noting that civic participation is essential for accessing government services and shaping the nation’s future.

Finally, the PS encouraged youths to take part in tree planting activities ahead of Mazingira Day, in support of the national goal to plant 15 billion trees and promote environmental conservation.
