Current Death

Persons who qualify for this service

The relatives of the deceased, Employers or estate administrators, among others

Requirements for the issuance of death certificates for all the current death occurring in Kenya 

• Burial permit

• Knowledge of name, date and place of death of the deceased where burial permit is missing

• Identification documents of applicants.

Fee:

• Alteration of particulars in the death register—Kshs. 1,000.00

• Death Certificate: Ksh. 200.00

This service is available in all subcounties in the country, Huduma centers, and the eCitizen platform.
